Branching Out Lamp (Collaboration Project)
The Branching Out Lamp is inspired by the image of a tree’s branches being illuminated by the sun’s rays. No matter how small the gaps between the branches are, light always finds a way to shine through.
We believe it’s one of Mother Nature’s ways of indicating to us that “there is always light behind the darkness”.
Our soothing lamp has been designed with a simple, polygonal lattice—through which light can escape to mimic the natural imagery that inspired it—while its overall shape resembles the quartz crystal, a symbol of faith and positive thinking.
It’s an honor to collaborate with my local wood furniture company, Zawood, to make this design a reality.
Applying their fine skills, Zawood’s talented craftsmen handmade each of the Branching Out Lamp from reclaimed wood. We hope our inspiring design will motivate our customers to overcome any obstacles in their lives, and promote the concepts of nature, modesty, and sustainability to our community.
